Why onboarding decides your retention curve

Most users decide whether your app is worth keeping inside the first session. They arrive with a goal, and either the first minutes connect them to it or they leave, usually for good. The largest share of the gap between apps that retain and apps that churn is made on this one surface.

Teams know this, and still ship onboarding once and let it fossilize. The reason is mechanical: when the flow is compiled into the binary, every copy tweak and screen reorder rides a release, a review, and weeks of update adoption. Iteration is the whole game in onboarding, and the release cycle takes iteration away.

Setgreet moves the flow out of the binary. Screens are defined on the server and rendered as fully native UI by the SDK, so changing the flow is a publish, not a release. The team that ships five onboarding iterations a month beats the team that ships one a quarter.

What you can build

Build with AI

Describe the onboarding you want and get a real, editable flow back. Native from the start, then refine it in the visual editor.

Branching by intent

Ask one question, route users to the right path. Save the answer as an attribute for every future flow.

Progress and momentum

Progress bars, checklists, and dismissible steps. Keep users moving without locking them in.

Localization

One flow, every language. The SDK serves the right version by device locale.

The one thing most teams miss

Segment by signup source. A user who came from a Product Hunt launch needs a different first-run experience than one from paid search.

How it works

1

Start from a real draft

Describe your onboarding and let the AI draft it, pick a template from the Flow Store, or build in the visual editor. Every path ends in editable native screens in your app theme.

2

Target and personalize

Trigger the flow for new users, branch on their answers, and bind their attributes into the copy. Different users get the first session that fits them.

3

Publish and measure

Publish to your live app in seconds, then watch the per-screen funnel in analytics. Find the drop-off, fix it, and ship the next version the same day.
